Artificial Intelligence
🌟 Introduction to Artificial Intelligence
A.
Definition Concepts
Artificial
Intelligence (AI) is the capability of machines to replicate human-like
cognitive functions such as learning, reasoning, and problem-solving. From
voice assistants to self-driving cars, AI is seamlessly integrated into our
lives.
AI encompasses Machine Learning (ML), which allows
machines to learn from data. Within ML, Deep Learning uses neural networks to
recognize complex patterns.
AI’s journey began in the 1950s with basic systems and
has evolved into advanced models we use today.
B. Types
of AI
- Narrow AI: Performs
specific tasks, like voice assistants or recommendation systems.
- General AI: Envisions a
machine that can understand and reason across a broad range of tasks, akin
to human intelligence.
Reactive Machines, Limited Memory, Theory of Mind, and Self-aware
AI represent different AI capabilities, from reacting to current situations to
potentially understanding emotions and self-awareness in the future.
C. Common
Misconceptions
AI’s impact on jobs involves both losses and new
opportunities. While AI can’t feel emotions like humans, it enhances efficiency
and opens new avenues. Contrary to myths, AI requires human input and is not
fully autonomous.
